Vitamin B12 is also called Cobalamin.

In females, Vitamin B12:

⤳Supports healthy ovulation

⤳Regulates irregular menstrual cycles

⤳Supports successful implantation

⤳Deficiency is associated w/ higher miscarriage risk

⤳Deficiency in animals causes infertility

In males, Vitamin B12:

⤳Supports sperm count

⤳Supports sperm motility

⤳Deficiency in animals causes testicular damage

As you can see, Vitamin B12 is essential for fertility in both females and males.

Another aspect of Vitamin B12 is that it is involved in the regulation of homocysteine levels. Elevated homocysteine levels are a risk factor for miscarriage.

I’ll be talking about where you can get Vitamin B12 later this week. Stay tuned!
