Things aren’t perfect, especially right now. It’s easy to feel unmotivated and powerless. But guess what? Things will never be perfect.
If we can realize and accept the uncomfortable, the more we can start to shape things the way we want them to be. We can progress.
It’s okay to stop and smell the flowers. If that’s what you need right now, then do it. But realize that you’re not stuck there.
I’m especially talking to my nutrition clients...even with slim picking at the grocery store, please know that:
-Conventional beef is still better than a Wendy’s Double Stack
-Conventional potatoes are still better than McDonald’s French Fries
-Drinking water is still better than drinking soda with high-fructose corn syrup
-Going for a walk is still better than not moving at all
-Sleeping a lot is still better than staying up all night
You can still make progress if you can shift your mindset.
