Not all coconut water is created equal.

If you drink coconut water from brands like VitaCoco and Kirkland, you’re getting a few extra ingredients that could actually be harming your health.🚱

All of the coconut waters on the right hand side of this post contain Ascorbic Acid or Citric Acid (and a few other undesirable ingredients). Why does this matter?

Because Ascorbic Acid and Citric Acid deplete us of Vitamin C, it means they’re also depleting us of Copper.🗑️

Copper is required for a good metabolism. It helps us make energy and is involved in most interactions in the body. It’s also what helps us regulate Iron, which gets out of control and drives disease.
