Could your lube be the reason you're not pregnant yet?

Could your lǔbe be the reason you're not pregnant yet? 💦

Yup, you heard me right. Lube.

While lack of cervical mucus is definitely worth looking into, sometimes you need a little extra help in the form of a personal lubricant.

But unfortunately, both commercial (including “fertility-friendly” ones) and even natural ones (including saliva!) can immobilize sperm, preventing it from reaching your egg.

So much so that they're considered a possible factor in infertility. 😲

This just goes to show that even the most “natural” lubricants can keep sperm from reaching your egg.

It’s definitely worth investigating why you’re not making cervical mucus. But it’s also worth looking into if your lǔbe is maybe the reason you haven’t seen that big fat positive pregnancy test yet either.
